Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Renegades
The Hudson Valley Renegades took Virginia Beach pitcher Danny Brand's best shot and still were able to claim a win at George M. Steinbrenner Field. The final score had Hudson Valley getting past the Mariners, 3-2. Brand went 7 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 8. Hudson Valley pitcher Anrique Gonzalez got the win. He's now 2-0. Joël Snoeijs was tagged with the loss. With the victory, the Renegades upped their record to 55-44.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Hudson Valley. That's when 24-year old first baseman Neil Kuczynski hit a run-scoring double off Joël Snoeijs to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Kuczynski told the Hudson Valley Daily News.
