Suns Beat Visiting Power, 4-1
|
Hagerstown beat West Virginia on the strength of starting pitcher Tyrone Hogan's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-1. Caleb Langford wrapped it up, recording his 4th save. Despite the win, Hagerstown still has a brutal 20-85 record.
Jared Kennedy cracked a home run off Moses Wasserman in the bottom of the seventh. His 3-run blast put the Suns on top, 4-1. In all, Kennedy had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"Nice to get this one," said Hogan. "We've been scuffling."
