Tourists Topple Braves, 8-5, as Wagner Shines
Asheville and Rome put this game in the books despite some rain.

The Asheville Tourists powered past the Rome Braves, 8-5, at State Mutual Stadium. Hudson Wagner belted 3 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring three times, to lead the charge. Asheville is now 52-56.

With Asheville leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Wagner hit a fastball from Vinny Canessa for a grand slam home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Tourists ahead, 5-0.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Wagner said.
