Fireflies Beaten, 6-4, by Charleston
|
Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved RiverDogs beat the Fireflies.
The Charleston RiverDogs defeated the Columbia Fireflies, 6-4, in part because of left fielder Jeremy Reddick. Reddick was 1 for 3 with a walk. He scored 3 times for the RiverDogs. The 5th-place RiverDogs sport a record of 58-47.
Dylan Jacks helped out the Charleston cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the pinch hitter went 1 for 2. He drove in 2 runs.
"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Reddick.
