It seemed that Hickory first baseman Heddwyn Piltz could do no wrong as the Crawdads KO'd the Legends, 11-3. Piltz rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Legends hurlers were throwing.

"I think the Crawdads were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Lexington fan after the game.

"I felt good. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Piltz in the postgame press interview.

Heddwyn Piltz hit an RBI single in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Adrian Longrie in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Bronco Shackelford in the 9th.

In the 2057 season Piltz is hitting .275 with 8 home runs.
