Toronto picked up a win at Rogers Centre, bumping off the Virginia Black Bears, 4-2. Pitcher Erubiel Martin was a major reason the Blue Jays emerged victorious. Martin picked up the win for Toronto, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 7-1. Getting the save was Homer Covarrubias, his 12th.

Jayden Bice had a big run-scoring double for the Blue Jays in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Toronto leading 3-2 and a runner on 2nd, he got a slider from Chase Erickson and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blue Jays ahead, 4-2.
