The first-place Toronto Blue Jays took on the Pittsburgh Pirates in front of a spirited crowd.

A 3-RBI performance from third baseman Jayden Bice, who is on pace for 106 RBI this season, led the Toronto Blue Jays to a win over the Pittsburgh Pirates, 8-2. With the win, Toronto has a record of 41-11. Pittsburgh falls to 26-26.

Toronto took a 3-1 lead on Bice's 10th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which he hit off Mitchell Joseph in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Toronto to the win.

"The team always comes first, so pulling out the win on a day like today is the most important thing," Bice told a reporter while responding to autograph requests. "Our fans like to come out to see a win, so I'm happy to do what I can to give them that."
