Grasshoppers Pick Up 4-1 Win
The Greensboro Grasshoppers defeated the Savannah Bananas, 4-1, at Ballpark of Savannah. Greensboro third baseman Edgardo Castillo had a superb performance. He went 2-2 with 2 singles, while scoring 2 times. Greensboro reliever Nolan Parks picked up the win, upping his record to 6-2. Cameron Haisley absorbed the loss. Jonas Begtang was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save.

Javier Arista, the 23-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Arista contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put Greensboro up, 2-1.

"I felt good up there," said Castillo. "I saw the ball well."

The Grasshoppers improved to 77-35.
