The Greenville Drive locked up a win at Fluor Field at the West End, knocking off the Hagerstown Suns, 6-4. On the mound for Greenville was right-hander Bartoli Aguilera. He played a major role in the triumph. Christiano Sánchez finished to wrap up his 7th save. The setback makes Hagerstown 52-57.

Ronnie Simpson had a big run-scoring double for the Drive in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Greenville leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from Capeto Munguis, who is tied for 4th in the SAL in complete games with 1, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Drive ahead, 3-1.

"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Simpson told the Greenville Bulletin. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
