Well, that's how to end a game in style.

In a high-scoring contest between Kannapolis and Columbus, second baseman Trevor Pena was a difference-maker. Pena, who is tied for 8th in the SAL in RBI with 56, distinguished himself in the 9-8 Kannapolis win. He went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Kannapolis reliever Neil Arrowood was the winner. His record is now 4-2. R.J. Sousa took the loss.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Kannapolis trailing 8-7, Ric Acevedo hit a slider from R.J. Sousa to left for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Intimidators had a walk-off win.

"This place sure got loud," said Wally Franklin, the Kannapolis manager.

The second-place Intimidators are now 75-35, the Catfish 53-57.
