Solano Lifts Tourists to 11-10 Triumph
In a high-scoring contest between Asheville and Columbia, center fielder Madaleno Solano was a difference-maker. Solano distinguished himself in the 11-10 Asheville win. He went 4-5 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Ross Allen, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 29th save. Asheville goes to 54-62, Columbia to 56-60.

Asheville used the clutch hitting of Dustin Harris to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Tourists the lead, 11-9. For the game, Harris had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
