The Greensboro Grasshoppers captured an easy win, 14-3, over the Lexington Legends at NewBridge Bank Park. Maxwell Jones led the offensive barrage, going 3-for-4 for Greensboro. Greensboro goes to 53-66, Lexington to 13-106.

In the bottom of the fifth, Greensboro first baseman Josiah Williams had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Williams stroked a 2-run single to left-center. It made the score 5-2, Greensboro. For the game, he went 1 for 5, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
