Redmond Topples New Westminster, 6-1
Redmond starter Jacob Dermer put the New Westminster offense in a vise grip. The right-hander relied heavily on his curveball in leading the Rattlers to a 6-1 win. The winner was Dermer. He threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Joshua Nadeau. Redmond is now 25-30, while New Westminster is 33-22.

Rayan Pupo had a big 2-run home run for the Rattlers in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Redmond leading 2-1 and a runner on 3rd, he sized up a cutter from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Joshua Nadeau and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Rattlers on top, 4-1.

"I just tried to put the barrel on it," said Pupo.
