Traverse City and Lynchburg took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

The Traverse City Pit Spitters knocked off the Lynchburg Hillcats, 7-1, in East Coast League action at Calvin Falwell Field. Traverse City pitcher and Kernersville, North Carolina, native Wil Michell had an outstanding performance. In 6 innings, Michell surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. Earning his 1st save for Traverse City was Nash Gladman.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Neal Berry? The Traverse City right fielder had a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Pit Spitters on top, 4-0. For the game, Berry had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
