Oxford Owls starter Simon Santiago was dealing, as his team thumped the Florida Fire Frogs, 9-0. The 4th-place Owls bumped their record to 64-54.
Santiago allowed no runs on 2 hits over 7 innings for Oxford. With the win, the southpaw is 7-6 with an ERA of 4.45.
