The Lakeland Flying Tigers defeated the Dunedin Blue Jays, 4-2, in part because of catcher Wendel Craig. Craig went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Flying Tigers. Lakeland is now 61-58, Dunedin 57-62.
Making an impact for Lakeland was right fielder Nicholas Bazin. Kicks drilled a run-scoring double off Aiden Curl in the bottom of the first. For the game, Bazin was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles.
