Sea Unicorns Go Down to Defeat, 9-4
At Redding Grounds, the Gold Beach Sea Unicorns and New Westminster Cavalry were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The New Westminster Cavalry beat the Gold Beach Sea Unicorns, 9-4, at Redding Grounds. Maximo Clements, in particular, was impressive. He was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The Cavalry, at 30-28, sit in 4th place in the Northwest League North Division.

Early in the game, catcher Matt Blin had a 2-run home run for New Westminster. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Cavalry on top, 2-0.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Clements.
