Grimsley Neutralizes Chiefs
Nathan Grimsley, who leads the NWL in complete games with 1, was in top form in a tight contest between Gold Beach and Wenatchee. The Sea Unicorns right-hander helped his team beat the Chiefs, 1-0. Earning his 2nd save for Gold Beach was Rocco Williams. The misery continues for the Chiefs, who have now dropped 16 in a row.

Grimsley earned the win to move to 3-8. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 3 hits, striking out 10 and walking 1. The right-hander allowed the Chiefs few scoring opportunities.

"Nathan was throwing with conviction," said Gold Beach manager Frank Medrano.
