Balderrama Leads Rattlers to 9-0 Win Over Chiefs
The Redmond Rattlers welcomed the Wenatchee Chiefs to an afternoon game at Ron Tonkin Field.

Getting offensive support from Yélder Balderrama, the Redmond Rattlers topped the Wenatchee Chiefs, 9-0. Balderrama went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Rattlers. Eddie Pascal, who went 5.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with no runs on 3 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 7. His record now stands at 3-4.

Redmond first baseman Nino Pichardo contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 35th hit of the season and put the Rattlers ahead, 2-0.

Said Wenatchee manager Steve Marcy: "When you don't score, it's never a good thing."
