Furtado goes 3-for-5 in Mets Win
The New York Mets grabbed a win, 7-1, over the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. New York first baseman Evan Furtado was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. E.J. De La Rosa, who is tied for 7th in the AL in quality starts with 6, was the winner. He's now 5-5. The loser was Johan Rosas. The 4th-place Mets now sit at 25-31.

With New York leading 3-0 in the top of the seventh, Furtado hit a sinker from V.J. Olaroia for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Mets ahead, 7-0.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Furtado said in reaction to the win.
