The Charlotte Stone Crabs grabbed a win, 10-4, over the Salem Red Sox at Charlotte Sports Park. Charlotte shortstop Colton Garner was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. Picking up the win was Shane Epperson. He went 6.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits. Lindsay Roche had a big run-scoring double for the Stone Crabs in the bottom of the second inning. With Charlotte leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from 24-year old left-handed pitcher Abe McDaniel and swatted a double to left. It was his 21st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Stone Crabs ahead, 3-1.

"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Garner told the Charlotte Daily.
