Hillcats Deny Blue Jays, 4-3

Florida Auto Exchange Stadium was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Lynchburg Hillcats and Dunedin Blue Jays.
Lynchburg beat Dunedin at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium, eking out a 4-3 win. The triumph was primarily due to designated hitter Sampson Shores. He went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. Earnest Kuchenbecker picked up the save for Lynchburg, his 3rd of the year.
Rhett Larsen helped out the Lynchburg cause in the top of the seventh inning with a solo home run. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Larsen said.
Lynchburg is now 62-67.
