The Columbus Catfish dealt the Greenville Drive a 5-3 loss at Progressive Field. Jender Baeza was the star on offense. He went 2-3 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Columbus reliever Lyall Aikin picked up the win to move to 3-0. Zach Swicker suffered the loss. Serge Wallace collected save number 8.

With Columbus leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Baeza hit a slider from Zach Swicker for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Catfish ahead, 4-1.

"We were the better team," crowed Baeza.

The Catfish now have a mark of 47-75.
