Travis Pogorzelski put on a hitting clinic today as the Savannah Bananas dumped the Lexington Legends 16-2 at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.

The Savannah catcher made Lexington defenders earn their pay, lashing Lexington pitching for 6 hits in 7 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Pogorzelski said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Travis Pogorzelski hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
