With 7-2 Win, Hot Rods Go to 73-55
|
Bowling Green turned a good effort from starter Coree Keeven into a win over the Columbus Catfish at Bowling Green Ballpark. The Hot Rods won the game, 7-2. Bowling Green, now 73-55, holds down third place in the South Atlantic League Northwest Division.
Bowling Green took control in the bottom of the seventh. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Ajax Estrada hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Hot Rods.
"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Bowling Green skipper Scott Meissner.
