Eastwick Finds Groove in 5-1 New Westminster Triumph
|
New Westminster Cavalry starter Norman Eastwick turned a whale of an effort into a win over the Eugene Emeralds. The final score was 5-1, New Westminster. New Westminster's record now stands at 35-24, placing them 5th in the Northwest League North Division.
Eastwick pitched a complete game for New Westminster. The left-hander was charged with 1 run on 3 hits. He struck out 11 during his 98-pitch performance.
"When he's dealing, Norman is a tough customer," said New Westminster manager Lou Kajioka.
