Liotta Leads Canucks to Win
Memorial Stadium was the site for Northwest League action featuring the Boise Hawks and Abbotsford Canucks.

William Liotta led the Abbotsford Canucks to a nifty 17-4 win over the Boise Hawks. The Abbotsford third baseman, the 25th overall pick in the 2060 draft, was a force of nature. He banged out 3 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 1 double. Abbotsford starter William Neudeck was credited with the win after throwing 99 pitches over 5 innings. His record now stands at 3-1.

The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth. That's when Liotta hit a run-scoring double off Yannick Wright. It propelled the Canucks into the lead, 1-0.

Liotta said: "We didn't really let up all day. We kind of kept going and going."

The 5th-place Canucks improved to 33-32.
