The Bend Rafters needed 10 innings to beat the Rogue Valley Dodgers, 4-3, at Medford Ballpark. Kolton Certain, for one, had a fine performance. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. With the win over Rogue Valley, the Rafters improved to 37-27.

Certain had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 0-1 curveball from Ricky Kropf, he banged a solo home run to left-center, giving the Rafters a 4-3 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Certain.

In postgame remarks, Certain hailed his team's "single-minded focus."
