Emeralds Suffer 4-0 Setback

The Rogue Valley Dodgers locked up a win at Medford Ballpark, knocking off the Eugene Emeralds, 4-0. On the mound for Rogue Valley was left-hander Jordan Dae. He played a major role in the triumph. The winning pitcher was Dae, now 8-1. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 7. Snuffy Pearson notched his 6th save in 7 chances.
The Dodgers got a big at-bat from first baseman Soloman Broughall. For the game, Broughall went 1 for 4 with a double. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 9th double of the season gave Rogue Valley a 1-0 lead.
"Jordan was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said Rogue Valley manager Jason Portnoy.
The win gives Rogue Valley a season record of 46-18.
