Spellman Leads Reidsville to 2-0 Win
Gray Spellman was in top form in a low-scoring contest between Reidsville and River City. The Red Sox right-hander helped his team beat the Rumblers, 2-0. Reidsville, with the win, is 17-47.

The standout performance belonged to 18-year-old Spellman. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Red Sox. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Rumblers, striking out 6 and scattering no hits over 7.1 innings. Spellman is now 1-8 on the season.

"Wish we'd had more wins to celebrate like this one," said Spellman.
