Diablos Rojos Collect 8-6 Win Over Clowns
The Mexico City Diablos Rojos withstood an impressive performance by Campeche right fielder Gene Miles to defeat the Clowns, 8-6, at The Circus Tent. Miles was 2-4 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 4. Mexico City reliever Jaden Rigney picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Ronaldo Cifuentes was saddled with the loss. The save went to Ángel Sánchez, number 1 for him.

Mexico City used a clutch hit from Jeremiah West to get the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Diablos Rojos ahead, 8-6. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Diablos Rojos manager Roque Rivera.

Mexico City, with the win, is 7-3.
