Indians Stick Voyagers with 5-1 Loss
|
Pueblo pitcher Kelly Theriot did his part in helping his team beat the Great Falls Voyagers, 5-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The winner was Theriot. He threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Ryder Vaughn. With the win, Pueblo has a record of 39-29. Great Falls falls to 45-23.
Asher Pratt dealt the Voyagers a blow in the top of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and Pueblo leading 3-1, Pratt hit a full count fastball for a 2-run single.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Great Falls manager John Myklebust.
