Rattlers Bonk Red Wave, 14-3
|
The Rancho Cucamonga Rattlers met little resistance from the Riverside Red Wave, beating them 14-3 at Hammond Stadium. Charles Tulino led the way. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for Rancho Cucamonga. With the win, Rancho Cucamonga boosts its record to 9-10.
The Rattlers got a big hit from shortstop Noah Schreder. In the bottom of the eighth, Schreder pounded a bases-clearing double to center. His 4th double of the season put the Rattlers ahead, 14-3.
"Nice to score a bunch of runs," said Tulino after the game.
