Spikes Beat Black Bears, 15-3, to Start RCS
The State College Spikes started the Regional Championship Series in dominant fashion, blowing out the host West Virginia Black Bears at Dutchess Stadium by a score of 15-3 and securing an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Spikes designated hitter Jonah Just went 3-5 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 4 times and drove in 4.

A key moment came with one out in the top of the third. That's when Just hit a fastball from Charlie Dennison for a 2-run home run, putting State College up, 3-0.

"This is a very good team," said Just. "We have the chance to do something special."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dutchess Stadium in Morgantown.
