Pembroke Pines Fall Again, 4-0
|
Glendale picked up a win at Maryvale Baseball Park, bumping off the Pembroke Pines Herons, 4-0. Pitcher Kolton Fletcher was a major reason the Gauchos emerged victorious. The winning pitcher was Fletcher, now 4-3. He tossed 6 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 4. After today's action, Glendale sits at 34-35; Pembroke Pines slips to 27-42.
Robby Chavez, who is tied for 4th in the AZL in total bases with 124, came through for Glendale with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the third. The right fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 2 RBI.
