Blue Ridge Breaks Through for First Win in Divisional Series; Now Trails 3-1
Already down in the Divisional Series, the Blue Ridge Bulldogs put on their best show, beating the Hampton Orioles by a final score of 7-6. Scott Hall was special. He hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Blue Ridge now trails Hampton 3-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

In the bottom of the second, with Blue Ridge leading 2-1, Peter Johnson hit a fastball from B.J. Abbott for a run-scoring single, giving the Bulldogs the lead, 3-1.

"By the skin of our teeth, man," Johnson told the Blue Ridge Herald. "But hey, it still counts. A few more by the skin of our teeth is fine with me."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Blue Ridge in Blue Ridge.
