When the games really matter, the Casper Ghosts put on their best show, beating the Great Falls Voyagers by a final score of 4-0. Ashton Meyers went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Casper now leads Great Falls 1-0 in the best-of-7 affair.
Tom Stonard had a direct impact on the outcome. Stonard contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth inning to put Casper up, 2-0.
In postgame remarks, Stonard hailed his team's "mettle."
