Stampede Win Wild Card Series
The Medicine Hat Stampede are heading to the Divisional Series, having narrowly defeated the Helena Brewers.

Medicine Hat edged Helena in the series 4-3, with a win at Ballpark of Medicine Hat in the clinching game by a 5-4 margin.

T.J. Shattuck turned in a strong offensive performance for the Stampede and got series MVP for his efforts.

"I'll never turn down another trophy for my mantle, another accomplishment to remember once my career is over," he said. "What I would really remember, though, is a R+ Championship Series win."

It remains to be seen how the playoffs will conclude, but if Shattuck continues to swing a hot bat, his team will no doubt have a chance.

For the series, he hit .400 with a .438 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, 5 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Series finishes.
