The Great Lakes Loons and the Beloit Snappers will take the Wild Card Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Loons beat the Snappers, 10-3, at Dow Diamond to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Great Lakes designated hitter Garvin Ivey went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2.

Juan Carlos Beccatini had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the second for Great Lakes. With the bases loaded and the Loons leading 1-0, he hit a 2-run single.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Ivey told the Great Lakes Gazette. "It's as simple as that."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dow Diamond in Midland.
