Delco Win Brings Series to 3-2
The Delco Jawns have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Elizabethton Twins, winning, 7-1, at Joe O'Brien Field. Jawns right-hander Orlando Alicea threw 5.2 innings allowing 1 run. The win cuts the deficit facing the Jawns to 3-2 in the best-of-7 Regional Championship Series.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Lance Lardner? The Delco shortstop had a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Jawns on top, 2-1. For the game, Lardner had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"I can't say enough about Orlando," said Delco manager Salvador Ferreira. "He stepped up when we needed him."

The next game is set to be played for Saturday, October 8th , 2067 at H.P. Hunnicutt Field in Princeton.
