With right fielder Orlando Ogando leading the charge, the Santa Cruz Cruisers got past the Lake Elsinore Storm, 9-8, in extra innings in Game 3 of the Divisional Series. Ogando went 2-3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 at Lake Elsinore Diamond as Santa Cruz managed to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Simeon Robinson came through with a big-time hit for Santa Cruz. The catcher smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 9-8. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Robinson. "You've got to get results."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Lake Elsinore Diamond in Lake Elsinore.
