Lancaster Breaks Through for First Win in Divisional Series; Now Trails 2-1
The Lancaster Barnstormers got a strong game from starter Christian Borland, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Barnstormers took the 3-2 win over the Lincoln Bighorns in Game 3 of the Divisional Series in a 19th inning walk-off today. The win capped off a fine outing for the right-handed Borland. Borland threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball in the win, which allowed the Barnstormers to narrow their deficit to 1-2 in the best-of-7 series.

Lancaster won the game in the bottom of the 19th inning. With two outs and Mike McCarthy on the mound for Lincoln, shortstop Ben Wyatt hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Barnstormers fans to their feet.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Wyatt. "I like it."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at FirstEnergy Stadium in Lancaster.
