Road Win Lifts Dayton to 2-1 Lead in RCS
The Dayton Dragons got a strong performance from pitcher Terrance Izzo, who stymied the Clinton offense en route to a 4-1 win in Game 3 of the Regional Championship Series today. The LumberKings could never get a bead on the left-handed Izzo, who threw 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball. The Dragons now hold a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Maurice Vicente aided the Dayton cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder was 2-4 with a double. He scored 2 times.

"We've got a great group of guys," Izzo said, "and we're having fun right now."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ashford University Field in Clinton.
