Almost There: Dayton On Cusp of DS Triumph After 4-3 Win
Riding the 2-hit performance of center fielder Maurice Vicente, the Dayton Dragons got a road win against the Beloit Snappers, 4-3, in Game 4 of the Divisional Series today. Vicente went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Dragons, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 1.

Martí Almonte, the 22-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Almonte contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put Dayton up, 2-0.

"I like our vibe," said Vicente. "It's a winning vibe."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Harry C. Pohlman Field in Beloit.
