Hammerheads Advance to Divisional Series
The Wild Card Series may not have lived up to the expectation that it would be a dogfight that would go the distance. The Jupiter Hammerheads, however, are not complaining.

The Hammerheads were plenty happy to have wrapped up the series early and to have knocked out the Lynchburg Hillcats to advance to the Divisional Series.

Jupiter won the final game by a 4-0 count at Calvin Falwell Field and the series 4-1.

Hammerheads left fielder Yimy Santana was named series MVP, as he hit .333 with a .440 on-base percentage. He added 0 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 5 runs.

"It's not going to be the last time Lynchburg makes it to the playoffs, so it's sure a nice feeling to put them out this year," Santana said. "We just need to keep this going and take it day by day."

The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Series finishes.
