R.J. Dills was instrumental in his team's 6-3 triumph over the Bakersfield Blaze. The catcher went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Lake Elsinore Storm. The save went to Hudson Casarrubias, number 6 for him.

Jesús Mauri drove in one run for Lake Elsinore. The 23-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Carlton Martin. It was his 2nd RBI of the season.

"Whenever you can come through for your ball club, it's a great thing," said Dills.

The loss puts Bakersfield at 10-10.
