Owls Win Again, Extend Series Lead to 3-0
When he got to Oxford, Forrest Humphries was just worrying about staying on the roster. Today, he was starring in the Divisional Series.

The 21-year-old rookie right-hander shut out the visiting Hudson Valley Renegades, 6-0, in a remarkable performance at Ballpark of Oxford. With the win, the Owls took a 3-0 lead in the best-of-7 Divisional Series.

The Owls liked what they saw from Humphries. The 21-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Renegades to no runs on 3 hits over 7.2 innings, and striking out 3.

"I like our moxie," said Owls manager Leo Romero.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Oxford in Oxford.
