Quintana Roo Kangas starter Timothy Galik pitched a strong game against the Yucatan Matadors at Bull Rush Park, leading the Kangas to victory, 4-2. The La Liga Mexico SouthEast Division-leading Kangas have a record of 44-35.

Quintana Roo used a well-timed hit by Scotty Dang to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Kangas ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Galik.
