Intimidators Rally Past LumberKings to Claim 1-0 Series Lead
The Kannapolis Intimidators took the first game of the A Championship Series in dramatic fashion today, topping the Clinton LumberKings in a ninth-inning, walk-off, 6-5 win. LumberKings right-hander François Côté was impressive in the loss. He threw 6.2 innings of shutout ball.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Kannapolis left fielder Roydrick Dostie, facing Kolter Rodgers, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Intimidators the 6-5 win.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Dostie said in his postgame press conference.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at CMC-NorthEast Stadium in Kannapolis.
