Hall, Mets Sink Ignition Again in Game 2
Riding the 2-hit performance of third baseman Javin Hall, the New York Mets got a road win against the Indianapolis Ignition, 6-2, in Game 2 of the Wild Card Series today. Hall was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Mets, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.

The Mets took a 6-2 lead in the top of the seventh inning. Facing Indianapolis hurler Axel Lloyd with two outs, Hall hit a 2-run home run.

Hall said his team "played with determination."

Game 3 is scheduled for Friday at Citi Field.
